Do you suffer from neck pain or tension headaches? We will find the most effective treatment for you based on an in-depth examination and help you to prevent relapse.

Low back pain & herniated disks
Pain from the low back can be extremely painful and limiting. Pain from disc herniations requires more treatment than pain from tense muscles and joints. As soon as we have identified the specific cause of your pain, we can initiate the right treatment plan for you.

Do you feel tight between the shoulder blades, or does it feel like you have "a pinched nerve ?" Fortunately, it’s rarely anything serious, and with the proper treatment, in most cases we can remove your pain.

No, you don’t need a referral to be examined and treated by a chiropractor, and all our patients receive a subsidy from the Danish public health insurance (sygesikringen). Sygeforsikringen “danmark” also offers a subsidy to its members.

Chiropractors work alongside GPs, physiotherapists and hospitals. Like doctors and dentists, they hold a long university degree. Chiropractors specialise in musculoskeletal disorders, which affect the body’s bones, joints, muscles and nerves. A chiropractor can manage the whole patient pathway: the first contact, the examination, X-rays when needed, and a range of the most effective treatments.

Like doctors and dentists, chiropractors hold a long university degree. The programme runs at the University of Southern Denmark and takes five years: a three-year bachelor’s in biomechanics and a two-year master’s in clinical biomechanics. Chiropractic and medical students take the three-year bachelor’s together. The master’s starts with clinical theory, followed by a placement at Middelfart Hospital. There, chiropractic students work with doctors to assess the hospital’s back patients and decide on the best treatment for each one. The degree ends with a master’s thesis. After university, the chiropractor completes a one-year clinical internship at a private chiropractic clinic in Denmark. They are then fully qualified to work as a chiropractor in the Danish healthcare system.
